I have chosen to care for children because I enjoy watching them learn and grow. Childcare continues to be a rewarding experience for me. It is wonderful to see how well children respond to a supportive, loving environment. I know that by teaching young children I am making a long term contribution to the people they will become. I still recall the early care I received in a family childcare home from someone who became an integral part of my life and even attended my wedding and baby showers!

As a former school teacher in both public and private schools, my purpose right now is to stay home in order to home school my own children. I would like to share the education I am providing with a few other friends around their ages so that they can have playmates. That is the reason I am doing family childcare in my home.

I used to be a children's pastor and I have traveled to over 40 countries around the globe doing children's ministry. I even had my own kid's television program that I hosted. All of my children’s ministry background funnels into my purpose in life that I am also doing now in family childcare. Reaching children for Christ and with outstretched arms like Jesus saying "let the little children come!" This is why I would love to be a part of your family by providing excellent childcare in a loving and learning environment so that children can grow to their full potential of promise.

I provide a variety of activities for the children each day. We have time for crafts, interactive group activities, free play, songs and stories. I have both indoor and outdoor toys and equipment available for play. Indoors there are a large variety of blocks, story books, musical instruments, dolls, tools, cars, electronic learning toys, etc.

My backyard is fully fenced and equipped with a playhouse, slides, ride-on toys, balls, and etc. Following Florida guidelines, I also provide healthy meals and snacks for the children at no extra cost to parents.

Also included in my services are frequent field trips to places like the park, stores, libraries, museums, zoo, gymnastics for preschoolers, play areas, etc. We will have tons of fun while learning the essentials for young children.
